Job Description
The Netherlands has more than 10,000 food startups! Kitchen Republic is always looking for the gems from this big pond. Already 150+ creative, innovative and ambitious entrepreneurs have joined our Community and with your help this group will continue to grow. You will be responsible for the growth of our community in a general sense. You do this by:
- Managing the quality of our existing activities and our external relationships within them.
- Expanding our offer to stay relevant for our members. You will set up collaborations with external parties.
- Managing interaction within the community.
- Staying in touch with our members through various communication platforms and our website.
- Scouting promising food companies and connecting them to KR (sales).

Your profile
You have experience within the food industry and are familiar with all its trends and developments. You work pleasantly together with the rest of the team but take the lead within your own objectives. You can empathize with the needs of our members and at the same time keep an eye on the interests of the company/brand. Your enthusiasm and energy alone will help you reach your monthly targets, but should you encounter tough problems, you will not give up easily and keep looking for solutions. You actively think about our strategy and get to work converting it into action. 

Requirements
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in the food industry.
- You love networking; and have already built a nice network in food service and retail.
- You can speak in front of large groups. 

A plus if
- You have experience working in both large and small organizations.
- You have experience in entrepreneurial programs (accelerators, incubators).

What we offer
- A contract of 36-40 hours, with good fringe benefits.
- 28 vacation days per year
- Start in April or May 2023
