Meet the Buyer x Crisp

March 25 @ 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Free

Our Meet the Buyer sessions are designed to connect passionate food entrepreneurs with potential customers, buyers, and/or category managers. Every month, we invite buyers from all different categories of the food scene, such as supermarkets, online retailers, hotel chains, wholesalers, restaurant owners, etc. These sessions offer exclusive sales opportunities, feedback, and/or professional connections that you won't find anywhere else. In this session, we welcome Crisp at KR!

About Crisp
Crisp is the supermarket app for fresh and affordable food. The service delivers groceries nationwide 7 days a week, and orders placed before 11 p.m. are delivered the next day. The Crisp range consists of products from more than 700 farmers, growers, and makers. Crisp was launched in November 2018 by Tom Peeters, Michiel Roodenburg, and Eric Klaassen. Crisp's mission is to make better quality food accessible to more people.

Their sourcing principles are straightforward: taste above all else, priority for local, preferably pure, and we demand transparency throughout the entire supply chain.

Requirements Crisp
– For the launch of a new brand, they often advise a minimum of 2-3 SKUs to build a future-proof range rather than a single product.
– Crisp is specifically looking for products in the Asian category, but is open to new and innovative products to add to their DKW/dry goods assortment.

Who will you meet during this session?
Jacomijn Belle – Category Manager
Maud Korstenbroek – Category Manager

KR’s requirements:
– Be a member of the KR Community
– Arrive on time, assets prepared (tasting materials/presentation documents prepped) and ready to pitch
– As space is limited and time precious, please understand that KR and the guest buyer will select the most relevant food companies to see during each session as it relates to the buyer’s/company’s focus.
– You can also leave your product(s) behind for the buyer, KR will collect your feedback.
If you’re unable to attend, please let us know at least 12 hours in advance. If you do not cancel in time, you will not be included in the next selection round for an upcoming session.

How does it work?
– We offer time slots of 10 minutes per company. This might sound short, but it’s definitely long enough to make a lasting impression.
Applications for this MTB session close on March 16. If selected, we will contact you the week prior with time slot details.
