Meet the Buyer x Join Program

Our Meet the Buyer sessions are designed to connect passionate food entrepreneurs with potential customers, buyers, and/or category managers. Monthly, we invite buyers from all different categories of the food scene, such as supermarkets, online retailers, hotel chains, wholesalers, restaurant owners, etc. These sessions offer exclusive sales opportunities, feedback, and/or professional connections that you won't get anywhere else. In this session, we welcome Join Program!

Join Program turns lunch into the highlight of the workday by focusing on great flavor, quality ingredients, and careful preparation. Their vision is simple: fresh, seasonal dishes made daily with high-quality products. Working with visionary chefs and partners, they continuously improve their menus based on guest feedback, and building a strong community. Their flexible lunch solution allows companies to enjoy flavorful and well-balanced meals with no extra effort. Prepared in their central kitchen and supported by smart data use, they deliver fresh, surprising, and increasingly personalized lunches every day.

Requirements Join Program
Join Programlooks for products that fit their lunch range and all-day concept: items with character and a clear story, not standard solutions. They mainly work with bulk products for their production kitchen, and for the all-day concept they focus on distinctive items that offer standout flavor, functionality, and added value.

Product preferences include:
– Locally sourced ingredients or local suppliers
– Availability via Sligro, Instock or Chef Centraal
– Bulk packaging
– Plant-based protein alternatives
– Minimally processed products
– Gluten-free (a plus, not a must)
– Fermented, pickled and preserved vegetables (FSSC certified where applicable)
– Innovative, distinctive products

KR’s requirements:
– Be a member of the KR Community
– Arrive on time, assets prepared (tasting materials/presentation documents prepped) and ready to pitch
– As space is limited and time precious, please understand that KR and the guest buyer will select the most relevant food companies to see during each session as it relates to the buyer’s/company’s focus.
– You can also leave your product(s) behind for the buyer, KR will collect your feedback.
If you’re unable to attend, please let us know at least 12 hours in advance. If you do not cancel in time, you will not be included in the next selection round for an upcoming session.

How does it work?
– We offer time slots of 10 minutes per company. This might sound short, but it’s definitely long enough to make a lasting impression.
Applications for this MTB session will close on January 25. If selected, we will contact you the week prior with time slot details.
