Meet the Buyer x Lokalist

September 15, 2025 @ 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Free

Our Meet the Buyer sessions are designed to connect passionate food entrepreneurs with potential customers, buyers, and/or category managers. Monthly, we invite buyers from all different categories of the food scene, like supermarkets, online retailers, hotel chains, wholesale, restaurant owners, etc. These sessions offer exclusive sales opportunities, feedback, and/or professional connections that you won't get anywhere else. In this session, we welcome Lokalist!

About Lokalist
Lokalist is the ordering and transport platform for local food. Lokalist makes local food findable, orderable, and deliverable for everyone. They do this by directly connecting the offer of farmers, growers, and other food makers with customers, while smartly combining logistics flows. Their clients mainly include caterers, hospitality, retail, leisure, healthcare, farm shops, and education. Lokalist provides ordering platform, invoicing, and optional logistics services. Also, producers remain in charge of their own pricing and assortment.
Lokalist is already working together with some Kitchen Republic members: Max & Bien, Suboro, Fermi Foods and Veld 4.

Requirements Lokalist
- Origin: preference for Dutch products; if not possible (e.g., coffee), processing must take place in the Netherlands.
- At the moment, Lokalist operates in four provinces: North Holland, South Holland, Utrecht, and Brabant. Producing within these regions is therefore a plus. Their ambition is to expand nationwide within one year.
- They are interested in all product categories.
- There's no minimum requirement; even a single product is acceptable (growth with customers is possible)
- Wholesalers: no preference; open to both direct collaboration and alongside existing wholesalers
