Meet the Buyer x VHC Boys
Our Meet the Buyer sessions are designed to connect passionate food entrepreneurs with potential customers, buyers, and/or category managers. Monthly, we invite buyers from all different categories of the food scene, like supermarkets, online retailers, hotel chains, wholesale, restaurant owners, etc. These sessions offer exclusive sales opportunities, feedback, and/or professional connections that you won't get anywhere else. In this session, we welcome VHC Boys!
About VHC Jongens
VHCJongens is a family business that has grown since 1940 from an Amsterdam dairy farmer to a dynamic wholesaler for the hospitality industry in North Holland. From their centrally located distribution center in Oostzaan they deliver a complete range of products to their relations with more than 90 trucks every day. By using solar panels, electric trucks and company cars, VHC Jongens is working towards the goal to be CO2 neutral in 2030.
Requirements for VHC Boys
VHC Boys is looking to add new and innovative products to its product range. They are particularly interested in:
– Asian products
– Vegan products
– Innovative products
– Snacks / appetizers
It is important that the products have HACCP and ISO 22000 or BRC certification.
Who will you meet during this session?
Rik van Diepen – Culinary Advisor
1 or 2 colleagues will join.
KR’s requirements:
– Be a member of the KR Community
– Arrive on time, with materials prepared (tasting samples/presentation documents ready) and ready to pitch
– As space is limited and time is precious, please understand that KR and the guest buyer will select the most relevant food companies to meet during each session based on the buyer’s and companies’ focus.
– You can also leave your product(s) behind for the buyer; Kitchen Republic will collect your feedback.
– If you’re unable to attend, please let us know at least 12 hours in advance. If you do not cancel in time, you will not be included in the next selection round for an upcoming session.
How does it work?
– We offer time slots of 10 minutes per company. This might sound short, but it’s definitely long enough to make a lasting impression.
– Applications for this MTB session will close on June 10. If selected, we will contact you the week prior with time slot details.
