DESCRIPTION:Our Roundtable concept involves meeting with a small group of members who are willing to share their experience and knowledge on a specific topic. We develop themes based on common challenges and shared difficulties. When all participants strike a balance between giving and receiving information, we believe a Roundtable discussion can be a very valuable experience for everyone involved. \nIn this Roundtable session, we will focus on crowdfunding. Our expert guest for this session is Mark Laagewaard, who founded CrowdAboutNow in 2009. CrowdAboutNow is the crowdfunding platform for entrepreneurs who want to grow and remain independent, as it collaborates with the entrepreneur to set up the crowdfunding campaign. You finance your plans, engage customers and fans, and work directly on your brand and visibility. CrowdAboutNow guides you through the entire process: from preparation to a successful campaign. During the Roundtable session, Mark will answer questions such as:– How can you, as a food entrepreneur, maintain your independence through crowdfunding?– What else can you gain from crowdfunding, besides financing?– How does crowdfunding actually work?– Plus, Mark will inspire you with some of the best examples from the food industry. \nSeveral KR Community members have worked with CrowdAboutNow in the past. One of them is Mojo Maté.
