DESCRIPTION:Our Roundtable concept involves meeting with a small group of members who are willing to share their experience and knowledge on a specific topic. We develop themes based on common challenges and shared difficulties. When all participants strike a balance between giving and receiving information, we believe a Roundtable can be a highly valuable experience for everyone.  \nIn this Roundtable, we will focus on the growth process from startup to scale-up. A business goes through different stages as it gradually expands, with each stage presenting its own challenges—in this session, we’ll explore strategies for overcoming these challenges. The following expert will join this Roundtable: Tjebbe van Meeteren—as Commercial & New Business Lead at Fish Tales (and former co-owner of Farm Brothers cookies), he is responsible for taking the company to the next level commercially in Western Europe. Fish Tales is a Dutch seafood brand founded in 2014. In 2022, the company recorded revenue of 12 million euros. What can you expect in this Roundtable session: Tjebbe will guide you through the process of successfully scaling up a sustainable food business. He will share useful tips and insights from his experience working with startups, scale-ups, and large corporations, and he will explain strategies for scaling up your business. – How do you break into major retail chains in the Netherlands after getting started in, for example, the hospitality industry, deli stores, or organic shops? – And what comes next—how do you enter markets outside the Netherlands? – How can you pinpoint your exact position in the market in terms of quality, price, USPs, and margin in a new channel or market?
