SUMMARY:Expert session: A new tool for inventory planning
DESCRIPTION:About the sessionMost food founders start out managing inventory on spreadsheets. It works until it doesn’t. Then you’re overstocked on slow movers and out of stock on your best sellers\, right when a big retailer wants a reorder. The usual fix\, an ERP system\, costs a fortune and is built for companies ten times your size. So how can you get a grip on inventory and forecasting? \nSeb\, co-founder of Chilli Chan’s\, went through this exact journey as a multi-channel brand scaling into big retail across multiple countries. In this session\, he shares what went wrong\, what he learned\, and how he built a solution that forecasts sales and tells you exactly what to reorder\, how much\, and when. It works whether you sell through Shopify\, wholesale\, or direct B2B. \nThis is a practical session with real-life examples\, fuckups\, and a live walk-through.The expertsEyan Chan & Sebastian Hoffman\, founders of Chilli Chan’s and Kitchen Republic member\, have dealt with this exact pain point for years while scaling their brand into big retail and multiple countries. Now Seb has built them a tool (Orderbee) and it has made a big difference. \nWho is this for?Food & beverage founders who:– Are managing inventory and forecasting in Excel\, and feel it’s starting to break down– Struggle with over- or understocking\, especially heading into reorders with retail buyers– Sell through Shopify\, wholesale\, and/or direct B2B– Are scaling but not ready (or willing to pay) for a full ERP system \nThe agenda17:30 – 18:15   Easy dinner 18:15 – 19:30  Live session with presentation\, demo & Q&A19:30 – 20:30  Drinks & networking \nRegistration for this event ends on October 18. You can submit your questions upfront when signing up. We’re looking forward to an interesting session!  \nIf you’re unable to attend\, please let us know at least 12 hours in advance.

SUMMARY:Meet the Community: Pitch & Pizza Night
DESCRIPTION:We want to use this session to brush up on our presentation skills. Whether you’re preparing to present at a “Meet the Buyer” session\, want to improve your storytelling in general or want to share your biggest learnings (and failures) from previous pitches – this is the right place to do it! Let’s use this session to work on your perfect 2-minute sales pitch. Just like our “Meet the Buyer” sessions – only that you’ll be pitching to your fellow community members instead. How does it work?We offer time slots of 15 minutes per member company. This will include feedback from the audience\, so we recommend preparing a pitch that is not longer than 2 minutes. This is a great opportunity to practice pitching within the safe space of our community (no external attendees) & learn from each other. We hope to see you there! Agenda:17:30 – 17:45 Walk-in17.45 – 20.00 Pitch time20.00 – 21.00 Wrap-up & Pizza PartyPlease RSVP before October 21st. You can apply for a maximum of 2 people per member business. A week prior to the session\, we will get in touch with you with a detailed timeline for the evening. Please note that if there are more participants than 12 who want to pitch\, we will repeat the session on a new date (details will follow).
