Meet the Buyer x Coffeecompany

Our Meet the Buyer sessions are designed to connect passionate food entrepreneurs with possible customers, buyers, and/or category managers. Monthly, we invite buyers from all different categories of the food scene, like; supermarkets, online retailers, hotel chains, wholesalers, restaurant owners, etc. These sessions offer exclusive sales opportunities, feedback, and/or professional connections, you won’t get anywhere else. In this session, we welcome Coffeecompany at KR!
About Coffeecompany
The very first Coffeecompany opened its doors in 1996 – today there are 37 locations all over the Netherlands. Through direct contact with coffee farmers and paying prices that are in relation to the quality, Coffeecompany can have unique coffee according to its own recipe. With specially built espresso machines and extensive barista training in the coffee warehouse in Amsterdam, making coffee at Coffeecompany is once again a craft. Next to coffee, sweet and savoury snacks as well as various refreshing drinks are part of the all-day menu.
Requirements Coffeecompany
– Coffeecompany is looking for products that look nice on the counter for sale, can be both chilled or unchilled.
– Preference for products that can be stored in the freezer so that they can defrost/bake them as needed.
– Ideally, the products are ready to eat and don’t require too much preparation on their end.
– It’s a plus if you are listed at Chef Centraal or Sligro, but they would also be open to ordering via your supplier.

KR’s requirements:
– Be a member of the KR Community
– Arrive on time, assets prepared (tasting materials/presentation documents prepped) and ready to pitch
– As space is limited and time precious, please understand that KR and the guest buyer will select the most relevant food companies to see during each session as it relates to the buyer’s/company’s focus.
– You can also leave your product(s) behind for the buyer, KR will collect your feedback.
How does it work?
– We offer time slots of 10 minutes per company. This might sound short, but it’s definitely long enough to make a lasting impression.
– Applications for this MTB session close on April 6. If selected, we will contact you the week prior with time slot details.
