Roundtable: Sales Success

Our Roundtable concept is about meeting up with a small group of members who are willing to share their experience and knowledge about a certain topic. We create themes around popular challenges and shared difficulties. When all participants balance giving and taking of information, we believe that a Roundtable discussion can be a very valuable experience for every participant.

In this Roundtable session, we will focus on sales. A big word that covers a lot of aspects, and sales success is depending on many different factors of course. This session will not tell you how you need to do sales, but it will give you insights on how other entrepreneurs approach their sales activities and also what they have learned from previous experiences (and potentially failures). 

We want to look at the whole sales funnel – from cold calling to closing the deal and everything in between, covering questions such as:
– What’s the best way to approach a buyer? 
– How do I get my product samples to the buyer?
– What comes after the successful pitch and how do you prepare for negotiations?
– How to deal with a “no”?
– What steps do I need to take after closing the deal? 

Luuk Elkhuizen, Head of Sales at Dutch scale-up Bites We Love, will share his knowledge in this session. With a background in finance and economics, Luuk started his career at FrieslandCampina, where he took on different responsibilities – from Marketing to Business Development and eventually Sales. At Bites We Love he is managing the sales team and is responsible for further growth of the brand in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
