DESCRIPTION:Our Meet the Buyer sessions are designed to connect passionate food entrepreneurs with possible customers\, buyers\, and/or category managers. Monthly\, we invite buyers from all different categories of the food scene\, like; supermarkets\, online retailers\, hotel chains\, wholesalers\, restaurant owners\, etc. These sessions offer exclusive sales opportunities\, feedback\, and/or professional connections\, you won’t get anywhere else. In this session\, we welcome Boon Food Group at KR!About Boon Food GroupBoon Food Group is a fully independent family business that has been operating in the food industry for over 130 years.They will approach the session from the perspective of Boon’s Market/MCD. These formulas encompass 42 stores.Mission“Boon’s Market\, your most local service-oriented fresh supermarket with a focus on people\, animals\, and the earth. And always at the right price.”Proposition“Boon’s Market\, the most local supermarket in the Netherlands”What is Boon Food Group looking for?They are interested in new partners who align with their values. Additionally\, they are looking for products with a story that can fulfil their mission. This can encompass all categories found in the supermarket.Boon’s Market’s Testing GroundRecently\, they have developed a platform where they want to introduce their customers to new products from smaller suppliers\, new products with a unique story\, or new products with a special origin. This platform is available in a selected number of stores. Successful products may then become part of our regular assortment. For ongoing rotation\, they are constantly seeking new concepts to present here. See the picture below from the current testing ground\, with many products from KR members such as Mojo Maté\, Van Eigen Deeg and Dutch Harvest.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAttending from the teamDepending on the final selection\, they will determine which category managers will join the session.KR’s requirements:– Be a member of the KR Community– Arrive on time\, assets prepared (tasting materials/presentation documents prepped) and ready to pitch– As space is limited and time precious\, please understand that KR and the guest buyer will select the most relevant food companies to see during each session as it relates to the buyer’s/company’s focus.– You can also leave your product(s) behind for the buyer\, KR will collect your feedback.How does it work?– We offer time slots of 10 minutes per company. This might sound short\, but it’s definitely long enough to make a lasting impression. – Applications for this MTB session will close on June 16. If selected\, we will contact you the week prior with time slot details.
