SUMMARY:Meet the Buyer x Ekomenu
DESCRIPTION:Our Meet the Buyer sessions are designed to connect passionate food entrepreneurs with potential customers\, buyers\, and/or category managers. Monthly\, we invite buyers from all different categories of the food scene\, like supermarkets\, online retailers\, hotel chains\, wholesale\, restaurant owners\, etc. These sessions offer exclusive sales opportunities\, feedback\, and/or professional connections that you won’t get anywhere else. In this session\, we welcome Ekomenu! About EkomenuEkomenu is an organic and regenerative meal box that delivers across the Netherlands and Belgium. Every week\, 35 recipes are put together that take 14 different lifestyles and allergens into account\, from variety and family to keto and vegan. The recipes are created by chefs\, and the organic ingredients are either delivered to people’s homes or picked up at EkoPlaza. The chefs pay attention to the right nutritional value\, seasonal ingredients and convenience\, and above all\, taste. This way\, our customers can choose a personalized menu that fits their own lifestyle. \n\n\nIt is important to us to work with local makers who share the same passion and vision for a better food chain\, and who enjoy working with a company with a truly sustainable heart. \nFood for Health \nEkomenu presents itself under the motto “Food for Health”: lifestyle menus that contribute to your own health and to that of the planet. Besides the meal box\, Ekomenu also offers digital services and health programs. The impact they make is significant: around 40% less CO2 emissions\, 22% lower risk of chronic disease\, and gains for biodiversity and animal welfare. Their motto is that healthy eating and sustainable eating go hand in hand\, without having to be complicated. \n\n\nRequirements Ekomenu- – Ekomenu is looking for products that are preferably organic\, or that require large volumes to make an organic batch. SUMMARY:Meet the Buyer x Goedhart Bakery Kitchen
DESCRIPTION:Our Meet the Buyer sessions are designed to connect passionate food entrepreneurs with possible customers\, buyers\, and/or category managers. Monthly\, we invite buyers from all different categories of the food scene\, like; supermarkets\, online retailers\, hotel chains\, wholesalers\, restaurant owners\, etc. These sessions offer exclusive sales opportunities\, feedback\, and/or professional connections\, you won’t get anywhere else. In this session\, we welcome Goedhart Bakery Kitchen Group!About Goedhart Bakery Kitchen GroupGoedhart Bakery Kitchen Group is a Dutch food manufacturer specialising in fresh\, ready-to-eat and ready-to-heat food solutions for on-the-go consumption. They believe that convenience should never come at the cost of quality\, so everything is produced daily\, with full chain control from bakery to delivery. Think sandwiches\, wraps\, paninis\, pizzas\, snacks and easy meals — always fresh\, reliable and tailored to the moment. \nThey operate across three brands: The Bread Office (ready-to-eat sandwiches & lunch)\, Qizini (ready-to-heat paninis\, pizza & easy meals) and Sanday’s (ultra-fresh travel food). Their products are sold across multiple channels\, from retail to inflight catering.Known retail and foodservice partners include NS/Kiosk\, with whom they co-develop new sandwich concepts. \n\n\n\n\n\nRequirements Goedhart Bakery Kitchen– Distinctive ingredients: unique sauces\, herb blends\, toppings\, fillings or flavour components that can be integrated into existing product categories (sandwich spreads\, panini fillings\, pizza toppings\, salad dressings\, snacks).– Recipes/concepts with a proven flavour profile: not a rough idea\, but a product or recipe that has already been tested or tasted\, with known flavour\, texture and shelf life — and that is food-safe and comes with the relevant certifications.– Scalability of the ingredient/recipe: it must be suitable for industrial processing and production (i.e. not an artisan product that can only be made by hand). GBK’s preference is ready-to-eat.– Trend relevance: preference for concepts aligned with current themes: plant-based/vegetarian\, fermentation\, international cuisines\, low-waste/upcycling of by-products\, functional ingredients.– Applicability within at least one of the brands/product groups: please indicate specifically whether the concept fits Bread Office (chilled fresh)\, Qizini (ready-to-heat)\, Sanday’s (travel/ultra-fresh) or salads/snacks.– Willingness to collaborate at recipe or ingredient level: not necessarily at brand level. GBK is not looking to acquire a brand\, but to license\, purchase or co-develop a specific ingredient or recipe \nWhat GBK is explicitly not looking for in this session: Finished end products intended to be sold as a standalone brand on shelf. \nAttending from the teamMasha Boer – Head of product development and productRobert van der Kooij – BuyerNatascha Oldenburg  – Product ManagerCas Lepelaar – Product ManagerMick Assies – Product DeveloperPascale van Beek – Product Developer \nKR’s requirements:– Be a member of the KR Community– Arrive on time\, assets prepared (tasting materials/presentation documents prepped) and ready to pitch– As space is limited and time precious\, please understand that KR and the guest buyer will select the most relevant food companies to see during each session as it relates to the buyer’s/company’s focus.– You can also leave your product(s) behind for the buyer\, KR will collect your feedback.– If you’re unable to attend\, please let us know at least 12 hours in advance.
