Meet the Buyer x Fletcher Hotels

Our Meet the Buyer sessions are designed to connect passionate food entrepreneurs with potential customers, buyers, and/or category managers. Every month, we invite buyers from various sectors of the food industry, such as supermarkets, online retailers, hotel chains, wholesalers, and restaurant owners. These sessions offer exclusive sales opportunities, feedback, and/or professional connections that you won’t find anywhere else. In this session, we welcome Fletcher Hotels!

About Fletcher Hotels
Fletcher Hotels is the largest Dutch hotel chain, with 117 hotels—114 in the Netherlands and 3 in Germany. The hotels are divided into several categories (A, B, C, A+, and A++), determined by location, size, facilities, meeting and/or event capabilities, and local function. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and have extensive facilities for events, meetings, and other gatherings (weddings, presentations, venue hire, sports events such as soccer training camps, etc.).

Within Fletcher, they also operate several restaurant concepts:
– Bar Bistro Duco: Hearty, bistro-style dishes, characterized by the use of a Josper charcoal oven. 11 locations.
– Marina Lounge: Fine dining concept featuring smaller dishes, ranging from appetizer to main course portions. 5 locations.
– Blue Wellness: Wellness hotel restaurants within our wellness resorts, offering a mix of healthy and familiar food and drinks. 11 locations.
– Laguna: Italian cuisine. 1 location.
– ByZoo: World cuisine based on street food and sharing dishes.

Their guest mix includes both business and leisure travelers. In addition, they host a wide variety of events, meetings, and other gatherings.

Their food and beverage offering is primarily based on familiar, accessible items, and they are price-driven. Fletcher updates its menu twice a year (spring/summer and fall/winter), making changes to the menu based on sales data and profit margins.

All hotels are centrally managed from our headquarters in Nieuwegein, where menus are developed from start to finish.

Requirements Fletcher Hotels-
– High-quality ready-made / convenience products (both fresh and frozen)
– Pre-portioned meals and meal components
– Development of private label products
– Trends and innovations for the future
– Distinctive beverage concepts suited to our hotels and restaurant concepts
– Delivery via VHC in Almere — either through a wholesaler or direct purchasing

KR’s requirements:
– Be a member of the KR Community
– Arrive on time, with all materials prepared (tasting samples/presentation documents ready) and ready to pitch
– As space is limited and time is precious, please understand that KR and the guest buyer will select the most relevant food companies to meet during each session based on the buyer’s and companies’ focus.
– You can also leave your product(s) behind for the buyer; Kitchen Republic will collect your feedback.
If you’re unable to attend, please let us know at least 12 hours in advance. If you do not cancel in time, you will not be included in the next selection round for an upcoming session.

How does it work?
– We offer 10-minute time slots per company. This might sound short, but it’s definitely long enough to make a lasting impression.
Applications for this MTB session will close on May 10. If selected, we will contact you the week prior with details about your time slot.
