Job Description
The Kitchen Republic community consists of more than 150 businesses and we host multiple events and meetings each month for all of our community members. To make all these activities a success, we are looking for you. We are looking for an event and community intern, who can support us in managing all events. Think of organizing a big dinner in collaboration with different chefs, you will regularly supervise a pitch afternoon for our members and you will end your internship by organizing a big winter party for the community. In addition, you will help to grow the Kitchen Republic Community by maintaining contact with current members and networking with new potential members.
Your activities:
- You will be present at events to support and coordinate. Think of reception, guidance, service and aftercare. You are the point of contact for guests during events and you support your colleague in his or her activities.
- Performing administrative tasks such as making offers, preparing packages and keeping track of turnover data.
- Creating schedules
- Placing orders
- You maintain contact with our current community members.
Your profile
- You follow a (HBO) education in the direction of Hotel- or Event management.
- You have experience working in hospitality / events and you are hospitable.
- You are communicative, have a pro-active attitude and have an eye for detail.
- You speak (and write) Dutch and English fluently.
- You are interested in the food industry and all its current trends and developments - and you want to learn more about it.
What we offer
- A 32-hour contract (4 working days)
- A compensation of €375 per month
- Beginning September 2023
- Space and time for a graduation project.
- You will work closely with a small and enthusiastic team giving you a lot of freedom, responsibility and room for learning and personal development.
