Job Description
As Community Manager, you play a crucial role in growing and strengthening our network. You actively search for new food startups and maintain contact with existing members. You will also think commercially about growth opportunities. You will work closely with a small team to further establish Kitchen Republic as the platform for food entrepreneurs.
You'll focus not only on expanding the community, but also on attracting external parties who want to host events at Kitchen Republic. Think team days, inspiration visits or workshops.
What will you do?
- You'll seek out the latest, impactful and innovative food startups.
- You'll engage with them to get to know them better and explore how you can help them start and grow their business through Kitchen Republic's services.
- You actively engage with our current community members. This includes visiting venues, drinking coffee and attending networking events and trade shows.
- You organize community events such as networking drinks, pitch afternoons and expert sessions.
- You sell our spaces to external parties for events such as team days or workshops, and think along with them about the interpretation.
- You are involved in administrative work such as processing memberships, drafting contracts and answering emails.
What do you bring with you?
- You have a college degree (e.g., commercial economics, event management, hotel school).
- You have 0-3 years of work experience.
- You communicate excellently in both Dutch and English.
- You have a commercial attitude, are able to convince people easily and are energized by building relationships and achieving results.
- You have a passion for food and drink and are always curious about what's going on in the food industry.
- You are flexible in terms of working hours and don't mind working evenings sometimes.
What we offer
- A 6-month contract for a minimum of 32 hours per week, with the possibility of extension.
- A gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €3,200 (based on 40 hours), depending on experience.
